The European Commission on Tuesday, November 5th, approved its VIDA package with some significant proposed VAT changes that will impact organizations trading in the EU, including the UK and other non-EU businesses that have operations in the EU. The changes consist of three key parts, commonly referred to as:

- The single VAT registration
- Digital reporting and E-invoicing
