BDO has submitted its comment letter to the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) on Exposure Draft Amendments to Greenhouse Gas Emissions Disclosures – Proposed amendments to IFRS S2.
BDO has generally supported the proposed amendments to IFRS S2. BDO emphasises the importance of the connectivity between the sustainability statement and the financial statements. In addition, BDO has observed that the timing of implementing the proposed amendments as early as possible is critical to certain jurisdictions.
