June 2025 IFRIC Update available

The IFRS Interpretations Committee (the Committee) met on 25 June 2025. The IFRIC Update is now available.
The topics discussed included:
  • Committee's tentative agenda decisions:
    • Determining and Accounting for Transaction Costs (IFRS 9 Financial Instruments)
    • Embedded Prepayment Option (IFRS 9)
  • Draft updates to Committee agenda decisions for IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements: The Committee reviewed and proposed updates to nine agenda decisions that refer to general requirements about presentation, materiality and aggregation of information in the financial statements. The review and updates relate to replacing references to IAS 1 Presentation of Financial Statements with references to the new or amended requirements in IFRS 18.
  • Agenda decisions for the IASB's consideration:
    • Assessing Indicators of Hyperinflationary Economies (IAS 29 Financial Reporting in Hyperinflationary Economies)
